Wholesale, IDs typically run 50-75 depending on the amount. Retail 100-250.
If you are looking at the works that scans, has proper UV, proper everything, your looking at 150+
Not many are around these days that can produce top notch quality to the regular consumer.
States have been transforming over to Optical Variable Devices(OVD) holograms, multi-spectrum holograms, and 3m secure cards.
You can replicate PVC based ids pretty easily if they are only single color holograms. The UV though is typically tricky and you will need to find a vendor that sells non fading ink or you will need to silk screen and cure it yourself.
You can also replicate Multispectrum holograms but it will take considerable equipment, or you can try and contact a hologram manufacturer in china to produce overlams for you.
The next way to do it is find someone who stole a roll of overlams from a DMV.
Never show a fake ID to police officers. They run everything. If they have a computer in their car and run it thru the computer instead of radioing it in, typically they are able to pull the picture of the person on the ID onto their display if you are in the same state as they are looking up.
Technology has virtually killed the scene unless you are willing or find someone willing to purchase expensive equipment.
Good luck... the high quality vendors are very tough to find and do not hang around the street corner..

also to all, i would suggest purchasing the "bar book"
This is what typically bars and clubs will use or train their personnel to look for certain security features.
