Here is an overview of the closet I (and my friends) are growing in, with an old grow:
The clones come from two fresh mothers that I grew from seeds (see this thread). Here are the clones just after cloning and their two mothers:
After 8-10 days they all showed roots:
I did transplant them into new containers and put them under the 400W HPS, this is where day 1 - veg starts.
Day 1 - veg (17 August 2008) Pics taken just after transplanting the rooted clones into new containers. The DIY greenhouse keeps the humidity high for the first 2-4 days under 400W HPS. Day 3 - veg I removed the greenhouse because they should have enough roots to handle a humidity of 50%.
Day 5 - veg
day 10 - veg
day 18 - veg
day 1 - flowering
day 7 - flowering
The scrog is getting full. I removed almost all leaves and branches that didn't make it through the scrog net. This creates a better airflow and prevents "waste"(pretty potent but harder to harvest/cut) in popcorn buts. The scrog net is used to direct the plants to unused places, where light is wasted, and to create an even field where side branches can become much larger.
Day 14 - flowering
It's very crowded in there. The very first signs of flowers are visible, but not as clear as I've seen in my other grows with unknown strains after two weeks on 12/12. Everything looks healthy to me. Temperatures drop to 16C (60F) at day, when the light is off. It's around 25C (77F) in the canopy when the light is on.
day 24 - flowering
Everything OK! My only worry is that it may be to crowded for the lower buds to develop. We have never had plants with leaves this size.
The difference in leaf colour is not real but caused by the HPS and shadows of my arms.

day 37 - flowering
Previous grows had larger flowers at this stage. It is very crowded and there are many flowers though. Let's see what happens. Here are the pics. It's hard to picture any flowers, because leaves cover almost everything.
day 49 - flowering
Flowers are still small compared to previous grows. I hope the high number of tops makes up for the smaller tops. There just isn't enough light for most flowers to fully develop and I hope the lower flowers aren't too fluffy. It's too crowded in the middle top + scrog part .
day 64 - flowering
It's harvest day today. I removed some large fan leaves that blocked all the light to the lower buds in the last week. Next grow will definitely have a shorter veg stage because it became too crowded. There are many flowers, but they are all very small and stopped growing very early. I hope the buds are hard and not fluffy. We will harvest in one hour
I labeled the plants in this pic. M1 = clone from KO Kush mother 1 and M2 = KO Kush mother 2.
It's the first time that I grow a known strain from my own mothers. Before this, I always bought unknown 'commercial white' clones. Everything is home-made and known right now, that's why I made a journal.
Yes, I only have 400W. I made 14 clones and we will probably plant 10 of them. It basically means a shorter vegetative period when we use more plants. 5 is tolerated(=you have to close your grow, but are not prosecuted) in Holland so we are thinking about going to one mother and 4 flowering plants to avoid a possible mild penalty(most likely a fine) when busted.

He does have nice setup.
And you have a nice sig.

They are 8 days in their final soil box today. I topped the 5 most central plants to create more branches and make the scrog easier. Our grow box doesn't have the most efficient shape and the plants at the sides, furthest from the lamp, don't receive much light. By not topping and scrogging them, they will be able to keep up with the rest in height and catch some light. They are still on a 18/6 regime. I will switch to 12/12 in a few days. Here are the pics:
