No im getting sunny days. It would just be nice if the sun was out longer.

Just be patient man, as long as you are having sunny days, they will exponentially grow to be a big bush quite quickly... As you can see with mine, they are only 40 days old and the first week I had almost NO sun.
Ever since then we have had 90% sunny days and look at them now! Yours will catch up I guarantee it just make sure you keep the soil relatively dry! I seem to have much more rapid growth when they are slightly thirsty! (I don't know why just trust me)
When they are thirsty and I give them a dose of water + ferts they seem to take off more than if I water them on a regular schedule. They go BOOM! with growth because they are thirsting and seem to suck it up all at once and I have noticed really noticable changes in their size!

Thanks for the tips. I havent been using fertilizer but im leaning on doing so. My watering schedual is every other day because thats when the soil gets more dry.

If your plant is really 24 days old as your journal suggests...Then I would definately give that lady some food! If you can't get something fancy like an organic fertilizer (tend to be expensive) than throw down $4 on some All-Purpose Miracle Grow and dilute it to 1/2 strength or less... Sure it isn't quite organic but it is still food that your plant MUST have in order to see the growth rate you are looking for.
When flowering season comes upon you, switch over to any major brand of BLOOM Fertilizer (I use Schultz Brand Super Bloom) to see a spike in flower production.

Its probably because the roots will grow more in search of water, since the soil is more dry, and more roots means the plant has more ability to support more of itself, so it grows more.

well, they do look like pistons (stigma) and there are two of them on the nodes. but i do believe your baby is a little young to determine is sex yet. give it a week or so. and keep in mind you might have a hermie. but wow, it is looking HEALTHY!!!

The truth, all MJ plants show these leaf looking things at each node. What you're looking for is a little white hair that pops out from behind the leaf looking thing your observing.
