I think this varies from person to person depending on their anxiety. Some people find sativas make them paranoid, other people find indicas make the anxiety worse. Just experiment and see what suits you.

I'd been reading into this and I figured the same. and thats the general view of most. indica dominant hybrid or straight indica might be good.
indica is a more relaxing body high....and sativa the cerebral high.
But then I look up what one of the best strains for anxiety is, and I get strawberry cough as one of them, which is supposed to be known for its anti-axiety effects.
But it's a sativa dom. ....70% sativa 30% indica, this confuses me.

well no, actually I read that its one of the main strains a dispensary will recommend for anxiety at another cannabis forum
and its sativa dominant

this is me as well, only i still have bad anxiety. thank god for benzo prescriptions.
indica doms always make my anxiety worse, whereas sativa doms help it. it's definitely different for everyone.
