 Can someone help me with the whole financial Aid thing...

Ok so i'm going to ASU and I applied for financial aid.
According to the website, all tuition fees were due yesterday. I figured since I had a larger pending financial aid, that I wouldn't have to pay the tuition charge because the pending financial aid covered it.
But now I went to the website and clicked on pay fees/quickpay, and there are two ** saying I have past due charges.
Am I going to lose my classes or is the pending financial aid going to cover it?
Please help.

You won't lose your classes, but I'd call the financial aide department and see where your money's at. When it gets disbursed, they should take out the tuition money and give you a check for the rest.

They said it gets disbursed on the 15, I've been trying to call the fucking financial aid department at ASU but they're always closed it's bullshit ...... Does it take a while to process the disbursement maybe?

It shouldn't. I don't know how ASU works, but at my school, when they say it's disbursed, then you can head into the Financial Aid office and pick up your cash anytime. Seems odd that they don't automatically deduct tuition off the top though.

Oh, and make sure that they don't have you confused with someone else who has the same name. That shit held up my girl's aid for a couple weeks trying to get it sorted out one time.

Nah, i have an unusual name. I'm just hoping they don't charge me or some shit. Hopefully everything will resolve in the end
