American Spirits taste so much cleaner and have way more tobacco in them.
I smoke Djarum Blacks if I have some extra cash to blow. They're a good treat every once and a while, especially if you're tripping or baked.

Just tried a pack of American Spirits and apple you're right lol they got some pull to them. But I like that "plain" taste
I always just bite the filter off. Not only does it make for a better smoke, but it makes you look like a hard ass.

Alright, I saw way too many people talking about how American Spirits are hard too smoke because they're packed so tight. There's a very simple solution:
Unpack those little buggers. They advertise that they have 20% more tobacco than other king size cigs, but all that accomplishes is making it hard to smoke. Just roll the cigarette back and forth between your thumb and index fingers, working your way up from just above the filter to the top of the cig. I usually squeeze out a centimeter of tobacco from the end and throw it out.
Once I started doing this, American Spirits started tasting much better, and became more pleasant overall to smoke (I was about to give them up when a buddy showed me this trick). Sure, it's a little bit of a hassle, but it's 100% worth it.

25% more Hah. The pull of em makes them last longer and keeps the cherry from gettin to big if you're puffin away. The eagle stamp and the gold band also is pretty cool.
Unfiltered cigs do in fact increase your badassery by three-fold. Especially if somebody bums an unfiltered Paul Mall from you, takes a drag and coughs their lungs out.

I imagine that works fine too. I just like to imagine the filter protects my lungs a little (I have no idea if this is the case). I was more responding to the folks who hadn't worked out a solution to the overpacked Spirits predicament.

Light-Blue can of American Spirits...Been rollin' my own for 9 years now...Pure, Unadulterated, 100% Terbaccy... They say to just roll the unfiltered ones back and forth in-between your hands, losening up the tobacco.. Works kinda, but my problem is, they continue to burn( like normal smokes). My rollies go out, saving tobacco and not burning up when forgotton about.. Peace

i just picked up smoking within the past month. started while drinking (like everybody else), but it has quickly bled over into my study habits.
it's been said like 20 times thus far, but i continue the support for american spirits. i go upscale and buy the 100% organic. because i haven't had anything else for comparison, i never realized that they were harder to drag than other cigs, but now that you mention it i can definitely see that.
whatev though, just means they last longer, which is perfect for me. the majority of cig breaks i have are spent pacing back and forth trying to organize concepts in my head that i've been studying.
speaking of, it's time for a cig break right now.

A list of some of the best cigs i've actually tasted and loved. I just stick to Marlboro menthol lights now though.
