I posted this over @ The Shroomery and I figured I would share it here as well..

The answer is no, but there are types of drugs that (in my opinion) are elite drugs simply because; like any other drug anyone can do it, anyone can buy it, but unlike other drugs you can't just experience the "high", the "high" experiences you and in turn is a MAJOR LIFE EXPERIENCE all in itself. An experience for sure, but good or bad? That is determined by you, and what kind of person you are. Unlike any other type of drug, where you know exactly what you are getting, what to expect etc. Psychedelics are unpredictable.

It is my personal belief that in order to be blessed with the PRIVLAGE of being able to experience a truly enlightening, blissful, mystifying experience facilitated by the use of psychedelic compounds the individual using it has to meet certain "qualifications". Sometimes, well, many times, these "qualifications" are not met by ignorant, unexperienced users and they can experience what is known as a "bad trip". The fear behind the legends or dare I say MYTHs of "bad trips" that are disbursed through out society, in my experience, is enough to scare most people away from this classification of drug (psychedelic/hallucinogenic) entirely FOR LIFE.

I can actually remember a time in my own life where being a very young kid buying in to these types of things and believing it myself. In fact I was one of these people. Perhaps this is what convinces me even further that Psychedelics, most specifically mushrooms and LSD are what I would consider elite drugs.

Referring back to what I said before for those who have the pleasure of experiencing a true mind blowing psychedelic trip gain life experience that is literally priceless, irreputable, and irreplaceable. They are comparable to what could be referred to as a religious experience, but from my experiences, not in the typical sense of the word. So the question is, are you willing to risk your sanity at the chance of being able to experience something like this? Is living in a permanent "bad trip" worth the shot at experiencing nirvana on earth? This is a question I don't have an answer to. I can't advise anyone to risk their sanity in hopes of enlightenment, especially when these experiences are facilitated by compounds that are in fact considered "illegal drugs" by the law and society. All I can say that in my mind at least, without question psychedelics are truly the "drug of the elite". For those who are able to experience their bliss (after overcoming the initial fears), I mean truly experience what I would consider to be a mind blowing, enlightening, mystical, blissful, and most importantly beautiful experience than I would even go as far to say you may be an "elite" individual yourself.

In conclusion, I can't promote the use of psychedelics, but I can perpetuate and confirm that the myth of the collosaul experience one is ABLE (REMEMBER, NOT GUARENTEED, NOT BY A FUCKIN LONGSHOT) to have through the use of psychedelics is true, and the enlightenment achievable is indescribable and humbling to say the least. "
