Micropropagation on Agar

I read a book that says that one blackberry plant in 28 weeks could produce 2.5 million tissue particles capable of being sown. This sounds like it could be a great method for cloning your favorite lady. However the book doesn't provide a lot of information stating its hard to do this without a college education (which I KNOW is bullshit). Does anyone have experience? I have worked on agar with mycology before so keeping a sterile environment sounds easy. Then it says to just root your cutting into sterile agar (easy) and then to add the appropriate amounts of chemical plant food. Then it says to pick off the plant sprouts and to transfer them to another medium to root. Then after that transfer to a new medium and treat as a standard seedling. Anyone ever mess around with this technique? Cloning is fun and all but this could take it to the next level by being able to just pump out clones. If you have any experience or recommended reading links, books, or videos I'm always willing to soak it in.

This thread was moved from Hydroponic & Agroponic Cultivation.
Reason: Moving it over to the main forum, since the topic doesn't specifically concern hydroponics.

it probably says it takes a college education because of the culture work involved. using agar isn't exactly easy, specially without a good air filter.
from my understanding basically you would just place small amounts of cleaned leaves on a agar solution with plant foot and rooting hormones and you'll end up with miniture cuttings, my friend told me that's the basics of it after reading "plants from test tubes"
