Clone only strains are usually only slightly better than their seed versions.
seeds can capture any phenotype.
seeds can be just as stable as clones in a side by side comparision (clonez = no genetic variation, seeds 7 generations incrossed = 1% or less genetic variation)

Is it not true that no matter how you grow a plant as long as you harvest it on time it will be as potent as it should be?
Is it not true that if you neglect a plant it will be dwarfed in size and yield?

If I told my 14 yr old nephew how to grow weed vaguely in 30minutes and provided him with say some awesome seeds

I was going to say think of the elite landrace strains.
Hindu Kush is going to be on my list of shit to grow asap.
You can plant seeds outside and come back 4 months later and find copius amounts of weed.. that means it's not hard to grow.
Does crossing strains even produce more potent plants? Potency would be genetic related, if you bred hundreds of short people with no recessive genes for tallness you wouldn't get any tall people, what's the difference with weed?
I don't think there is any.
