Lots of great information here. For people just getting their feet wet with growing this is a great overview of all the different options available for a grower. I more or less skimmed the write up and was very impressed with the amount of information present.

In the Harvesting and Curing section it talks about "false seed pods" these pods are actually called Calyxes or Calyx singularly. The pistols grow out of these calyxes and if pollen were to travel down the pistol a seed would grow in it. Calyxes are very valuable because they hold the greatest concentration of resin producing glands, though on extremely healthy plants I have seen resin being produced all the way down on to the fan leaves, the majority of it is in these calyxes.
